Amatokin Emulsion Review
What is Amatokin Emulsion?
Wow. That is all I can say. I don’t even know where to begin on this one. Amatokin Emulsion by Voss Laboratory is a wrinkle reducer and skin rejuvenator. The official Amatokin Emulsion site says that it uses “Stem-cell Technology” – which is complete BS. That is pretty much all I can say about ‘What’ Amatokin Emulsion is. The serious issues are the way in which this wrinkle serum is marketed. Where to begin …”
Amatokin Emulsion Claims
So many claims to choose from . . .
“Amatokin is the hottest skin cream in the world.”
“Parisian women lined up to get their hands on what was said to be the most profound skin-care breakthrough in more than three decades.”
“Developed in Russia at the “super-secret” Research and Production Center for Medical Biotechnology (a high-security medical lab located 62 miles north of St. Petersburg, surrounded by razor wire and machine-gun-toting armed guards… no kidding)”
That last one is almost laughable, no actually, it is very laughable. Who are these guys trying to fool? I have found some resources on the internet that have linked Voss Labs, makers of Amatokin products, back to Klein-Becker, who is a subsidiary of Basic Research - makers of StriVectin. Is it the same product marketed under a different guise?
Amatokin Emulsion Consumer Review
Value: Amatokin is way over-priced for what the product delivers. The main ingredient is water, toss in some fillers, one of them being “Polypeptide 153” aka SYN®-COLL aka Palmitoyl Tripeptide-3 and you have yourself the product that had “Parisian women lined up”.
Safety: The marketing approach scares me a bit, but the product is totally safe. It contains minor traces of anti-aging and wrinkle-reducing compounds.
Anti-Aging Power: The only anti-aging ingredient found in Amatokin Emulsion is SYN®-COLL, which is another name for Palmitoyl Tripeptide-3. SYN®-COLL is short for synthetic collagen, because it is able to stimulate the skins natural mechanism to produce collagen. It has NOTHING TO DO WITH STEM-CELLS.
Ingredient Quality: This “secret” ingredient “guarded by machine guns” outside of Russia is a Polypeptide, whose actual name is Palmitoyl Tripeptide-3 or SYN®-COLL, which is found in a few anti-aging products. The bummer is that marketing hype aside, Amatokin Emulsion has one decent ingredient, but the rest is just filler.
Customer Feedback: Be cautious when reading reviews about Amatokin – they employees out there posting testimonials. Search through forums to really see what people’s experiences have been. Here are a few honest testimonials that I found:
“I used it but I broke out in bad hives the same time I used it so I stopped using it for a month. I have read a couple reviews on it but they kinda sound like someone hired from the company to say it.”
“I haven’t used it myself. Three women at work were just going nuts to get their hands on this. They finally did. After 4-5 weeks - nada. Maybe that isn’t enough time?”
“I purchased Amatokin in Bloomingdales and used it for a month. There is no effect, no difference. I think, it’s waste of money.”
Company Reputation: Extremely BAD. Amatokin is produced and linked to Basic Research. If you search for complaints against them, you will come across more than you would ever care to read.
Positive Features:
- Nice Packaging?
- Contains some Peptide
Negative Features:
- This product is expensive.
- Shady Marketing.
- There is no actual evidence of how effective this product is.
Amatokin Emulsion Conclusion
Extraordinary claims need to be backed up by Extraordinary proof. Amatokin is heavy on claims but offers ZERO proof to back them up. Amatokin Emulsion is extremely expensive, and in this case it is unfortunate that you don’t get what you pay for.
